This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
after 6 months of confusion I guess I came to a temporary conclusion that the difference between art or design is in the eye of the beholder.
And then there is something called "artistic design",the realm where most of the designs exist today,so its possible that a design may appear very artsy to some. There are designs which are often very artistic .does that mean that design is art but art is not always a design? or is design a subcategory of art?
lol i even came across this statement "art is freedom and design is slavery" that shit always cracks me up but when I think about it sort of makes sense and adds up to my confusion I guess its very subjective and rational at the same time and this debate is never ending...hope both art and design coexists in peace. btw then does that make "commissioned art" a design :S???
